Cyber Event Lead
Decision Point Security Inc. is actively seeking a versatile Event Lead with an adaptable skillset, eager to embrace new technologies, and join our esteemed cyber range team. As an Event Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing day-to-day leadership for event support personnel, overseeing the complete event lifecycle from development to execution and closeout.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Event Designer to translate event designs into actionable tasks for the event staff.
- Manage the event development and preparation backlog to align with technical requirements.
- Create technical schedules for events, formulate testbed configurations, and coordinate execution logistics.
- Maintain transparent communication on event progress, risks, and mitigation plans with management.
- Prepare and present comprehensive event reports and contract deliverables.
- Oversee local customer interactions, including coordinating visits, managing deliverables, and conducting event briefings.
- Extensive knowledge and 9+ years of related engineering experience with proven engineering leadership.
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 10% travel).
- Proficiency in test ranges/facilities operations.
- Ability to architect and assess network and software systems.
- Familiarity with network sensors and traffic generation tools within a test/range environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical writing and oral communication with a focus on leadership and customer interaction.
Desired Expertise:
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps implementations.
- High-level grasp of cyber concepts, penetration testing methods, vulnerabilities, information assurance, and security methodologies.
- Leadership in software development projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation.
- Background in researching and implementing emerging technologies.
- Experience in Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E).
